Addressing Healthy Aging as a Human Rights Issue

Join the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health on Thursday, Oct. 27, noon–1 p.m. PDT, for “Addressing Healthy Aging as a Human Rights Issue,” a virtual conversation with Prof. Jonathan Cohen, USC IIGH Director of Policy Engagement. Prof. Cohen will share how his work on health and human rights led him to the aging field, research he’s conducted on sexual and gender diversity in aging, and what the fields of global health and population aging can learn from each other. He will also discuss his plans as a 2022–2023 Health and Aging Policy Fellow for shaping U.S. policies for older persons.
This event will be moderated by Prof. Sofia Gruskin, Director, USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health.
