Born and raised in New York City, Aaron Wolff Fig is a versatile multi-instrumentalist who, at the age of 9, had a piece played by the New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher Hall (now David Geffen Hall) as part of the Very Young Composers program. Currently completing his final semester as a Popular Music major at USC, Aaron plays rock, pop, jazz-fusion, and funk with groups on a daily basis, and has performed with artists including Quinn Sullivan, Joe Bonamassa, CBS Orchestra, and others as a drummer. Working as a session drummer and guitarist, Fig is also finding his own voice as a songwriter. Inspired by the likes of Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher, and Phil Collins and making sense of the world through music, his songs contain messages rooted in growing up and entering adulthood during a complicated, confusing, and disconnected time.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
