About this Event
In honor and celebration of Women's History Month, join the the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, the Bedrosian Center on Governance, the Sol Price Center for Social Innovation, and the USC Schwarzenegger Institute for a conversation around the disproportionate impacts women have faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and women’s critical role in the recovery process.
Christine Beckman, USC Price Family Chair in Social Innovation and Professor at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, will open the event providing framework for the conversation, and will join the panel. The panel conversation will be moderated by Alex Cohen from Spectrum News 1 SoCal, and will feature Senator Nancy Skinner of California’s 9th Senate District, Dee Dee Myers, Senior Advisor to Governor Gavin Newsom and Director of the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, and Odilia Romero, co-founder and Executive Director of Comunidades Indigenas en Liderazgo (CIELO).
