About this Event
In partnership with the USC Roski School of Art and Design, learn about Circle Painting as a fundamental skill in art. Professor Keith Mayerson will take you on a journey to paint with watercolors. Share with friends and family through fun and easy exercises.
With a short and easy lesson on color theory and the color wheel, you will create, in the spirit of Kenneth Noland and Minimalist Painting, a “circle painting” of your own invention. The goal is making a personal work (that involves little to no experience) and has a life of its own. Learn by practicing - gain ideas about what breathes life into painting great works!
This event requires some art supplies but whatever drawing device or supplies you have on hand will work perfectly!
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
