This virtual event will feature Sander L. Gilman, Moderator, in conversation with Dean Phillip Bell,Yulia Egorova, Amos Morris-Reich and Mitchell B. Hart. Jews and Science examines the complicated relationship between Jewish identities and the evolving meanings of science: throughout the history of Western academic culture, Jews have been the subject of examination by “scientists” from biology and bioethics to anthropology and genetics. Volume 20 of the Casden Annual Review tackles a range of related issues, with contributions by notable scholars from multiple disciplines.
