"A Story of Two Ancient Peoples: From Cyrus the Great to the Cyrus Accords" Distinguished Speaker: Crown Prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi
Please join us for a captivating evening, as Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran presents his aspirations for his country, its people, and the broader region. In the spirit of this new series, he will offer specific insights about the Iranian Jewish community, which represents a unique heritage, shaped by the intertwined histories of two ancient peoples and forged over the course of millennia. In conversation with award-winning writer Tabby Refael, Crown Prince Pahlavi will share his personal reflections on Iranian Jewish life prior to the Islamic Revolution and his views on secularism and the equality of all faiths in a post-theocratic Iran. To that end, he will present his vision for the future of Iran and the Middle East - a vision rooted in the principles of democracy, secularism, pluralism, human rights, and regional cooperation that is worthy of Iran's diverse and storied people.
