About this Event
View mapThe Tyler Prize recognizes and honors two champions of people-nature relationships – Eduardo S. Brondízio and Sandra M. Díaz. They share a commitment to understanding and addressing the human dependency, impacts, and contributions to nature, bringing together the fields of anthropology and ecology. Both have developed new conceptual and empirical approaches to understanding the multiple ways, both negative and positive, in which individuals and different societies are transforming nature and responding to environmental change.
