USC's Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber and Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies - Catalina Conservation Divers are proud to host Catalina Island's 40th Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup, one of the largest annual dive events in Southern California. Take advantage of this unique experience all while doing your part to make Avalon Harbor clean! Proceeds support USC's Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber and Wrigley Institute Scientific Diving Program.

COVID-19: At check-in, all attendees will be required to confirm they are not exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, nor are they under isolation or quarantine orders via the Trojan Check Wellness Screening form included in the waiver packet. While masks are not required for this event, we ask that attendees, vaccinated or unvaccinated, consider wearing them for their own protection and the protection of others. Unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask whenever they cannot maintain a 6' physical distance from those outside of their household. Please note that protocols are subject to change.

Please make separate reservations per dive location.

To register a dive team, please submit requests to be added to the drop list to chvostal@usc.edu before registration. Only select a dive team affiliation if your team is preregistered. If you register as part of a dive team, your contact information will be shared with the team leader.

7-8:45 AM  - Check-in at Selected Dive Site (Bring Waiver Packet)

9:00 AM - Dive Master / Diver Orientation (Selected Dive Site)

9:30 AM - Divers in Water 

11:00 AM - All Divers Out of Water (MANDATORY)

1:00 PM - Prize Raffle Drawings (Wrigley Stage)

1-3:00 PM - Award Ceremony (Wrigley Stage)

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend, the registration fee is greatly appreciated as a donation. Refunds will not be available after the close of registration on February 17th, 2022. Unless otherwise determined, the event will run RAIN or SHINE. No refunds will be given the day of the event due to inclement weather or the inability to attend due to a failed Trojan Check Wellness Screening.
