Limb Salvage 2018: Multidisciplinary Medical, Surgical and Endovascular Care of the High-Risk Extremity

Max. R. Gaspar,MD, was an attending surgeon at the Los Angeles County Hospital for over fifty years, and served as a Senior Vascular Attending at LAC + USC for twenty-five years. His teaching and scholarly accomplishments have had a lasting impact on vascular surgery in Southern California. This annual symposium addresses topics of interest to physicians and surgeons who care for patients with vascular disease. The topic of the 2018 Gaspar Symposium is “the high-risk diabetic foot.”

A distinguished faculty is assembled for the symposium, designed to update the attendee on innovation and new strategies. Sixteen didactic lectures will be given to encompass the topics. This year we are delighted to have Dr. Joseph L. Mills, Professor and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine as our visiting Gaspar Professor. Dr. Mills will give his symposium address on September 6, followed by his Gaspar Lecture the following day, September 7, at the USC Health Sciences Campus.
