https://losangelesbrainbee.com/We are excited to announce that USC and UCLA will be hosting the Los Angeles Brain Bee Competition on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 from 8:30AM to 4PM! The event is back in person this year at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute on the University of Southern California (USC) Health Science Campus at Herklotz Conference Room ZNI 112. The deadline to register is Saturday, February 7th, 2025.
This event is an annual Neuroscience Competition for students aged 14-18. Students will have a chance to test their knowledge of the brain, hands on demonstrations and participations on Neuroscience related activities, meet Neuroscience professors from USC and UCLA, grad students, post docs, and learn more about brain research and potential careers!
The first place winner of the Los Angeles Brain Bee will be awarded Travel Scholarship to compete in the USA National Brain Bee Championship.
Prizes of $1,500, $1000 and $500 will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners of the USA Brain Bee Championship. The first place winner will be invited to participate in the International Brain Bee Championship to represent the United States.
