The course offers a review of important and timely topics in the field of perinatal medicine. Based on a review of the literature, input from our own expert faculty, and analyses from past conferences, we are proud to offer a comprehensive program with topics that include: Hypertension in pregnancy; management of labor induction; reducing c-section rates; common gastrointestinal disorders in pregnancy; restoring happiness in clinical practice; management of multiple gestation; obstetrics tragedies in history; electronic fetal heart rate monitoring; and a host of other topics. Lectures by USC faculty from the Keck School of Medicine and distinguished guest faculty from the University of Oregon and University of Mississippi will outline controversies, discuss recent developments, and suggest recommendations. Participants will have direct access to the speakers and ample opportunity for intensive question and answer post-lecture discussions.
