This two-day course is a series of lectures demonstrating the opportunities and challenges that personalized therapy brings to gastrointestinal cancers. USC faculty experts will focus on current advances in the following topics: rapid technological advances in endoscopy and EUS, molecular advances refining diagnosis and spawning new therapies, as well as development of new surgical procedures. The purpose of the symposium is to update physicians with multidisciplinary approaches to developing integrated care plans, for diagnosis and personalized cancer therapy for patients with gastrointestinal cancer. Participants can attain and integrate new practical information and knowledge into their clinical pratices to improve patient care and patient outcomes.
