Participants exhibit their work in the Tutor Campus Center Ballroom where they interact with faculty judges and fellow students.  The exhibit is open to the public.

The symposium culminates in an awards banquet where prizes are presented to the winners.  In each category, first prize is $1,000 and second prize is $500.  Prizes may also be awarded for Interdisciplinary entries.

Entrants may also be considered for special prizes from the USC Schwarzenegger Institute for State & Global Policy.
