USC Student Culture & Community (SCC) is a department withinn USC Student Life dedicated to enhancing students’ sense of belonging, community, and well-being. Grounded in the belief that You Belong at USC, SCC creates environments where students can engage in campus life, build supportive relationships, and grow throughout their university experience. SCC includes a collective of student-facing centers, lounges, and programs that promote connection, support, and student success. These include Asian Pacific American Student Services, the Center for Black Cultural and Student Affairs, the First Generation Plus Success Center, La CASA, the LGBTQ+ Student Center, Student Basic Needs, and the Veterans Resource Center — as well as the Middle Eastern & North African Lounge and the Native American & Pasifika Student Lounge. SCC also leads initiatives such as SCC Leadership & Education and the Students with Dependents Program. Through these spaces and programs, SCC fosters belonging, honors intersectionality, and nurtures well-being across the USC community..
This program is open to all eligible individuals. SCC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.
