The USC Language Center promotes and supports the study of basic language for all students at USC, including the supporting of coursework that develops language capacity for the professional and educational aspirations of students, as a context for understanding global affairs, and to develop understanding of one's heritage and the heritage of others. The Language Center is a gathering place for interaction among cultures and language speakers and is a support center for the learning and teaching of languages.
