I am currently a PGY1 resident from the VA – Greater Los Angeles residency program. I graduated from UCLA as an undergraduate with a degree in Biochemistry and recently finished pharmacy school through USC. I am currently interested in pursuing a career in the Ambulatory field. Hence, my current area of focus within the VA-GLA program is Ambulatory Care. However, since I mostly worked in the inpatient field as an intern, I am also opened to potentially practice in the inpatient setting as well. As of right now, my immediate goal is to be able to practice as an independent pharmacist capable of making my own clinical decision and recommendation. In the near future, I am interested in involving myself in some form of preceptorship to help mentor the next generation of pharmacist.
