Amazing event with two great speakers: John Cho (an actor making breakthroughs in Hollywood for Asian representation) and Pulitzer-Prize winning author and USC professor Viet Thanh Nguyen. I like how they were in conversation with each other, rather than just speaking to the audience, sharing thoughtful ideas and opinions on the progress -- and what's still needed in the future -- of Asian-American and Asian representation in creative industries (publishing and film/TV) and in academia. As an attendee, I felt like I was a fly on the wall, listening in on a chat between two very intelligent and witty individuals. Additionally, both John and Viet radiated coolness.

I'm so thrilled that I was one of the few that got to experience Brene Brown. It was absolutely amazing and I took so much from the experience.

Wonderful event -- moderator was excellent and really enjoyed both speakers. Also enjoyed the free food by LocoL food truck afterward. Thank you!

Event was great I liked the Q/A. I have seen Kumasi in action before. He did not let me down.

The music was great, but it felt weird for it to be interrupted by a long interview session. The interviews dragged on way too long in my opinion. Perhaps it would have been better to have the interviews at the very beginning so that every could have enjoyed the music uninterrupted.
