~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Schedule of Events~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Take Back the Night: The Clothesline Project
March 19 - March 24
Alumni Park
The Clothesline Project is a vehicle for individuals affected by sexual violence. Survivors are encouraged to share their stories or emotions of their trauma or survival on t-shirts which will be hung in Alumni Park. Allies may also show their support through the t-shirts. By hanging the t shirts out in the open of Alumni Park, we are airing out the dirty laundry of sexual violence. We will be decorating and hanging shirts Sunday, March 19! Please join us and let these voices be heard! If Sunday doesn't work for you, please reach out to us at wsausc@usc.edu.
Take Back the Night: Survivor Speak Out
March 23 , 2017
7:00 PM
EF Hutton Park
Survivor Speak Out provides a space for community healing as victims and survivors of sexual assault share their stories of trauma and survival. Individuals of all genders are welcome to participate through sharing narratives or offering support for others.
Self Care Day
March 24, 2017
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Practicing self care doesn't look the same for everyone, and in order to honor the myraid of ways folks take care of themselves, please join us for self-care day on Friday following the Survivor Speak Out where we'll have painting, clay-making, uno, and journaling.
If you are interested in volunteering to help make this a successful week or have any questions please email us at wsausc@usc.edu.
