Robert McKenrick is the Veteran Administration's Executive Director, Clinical Care (SES) of greater Los Angeles.
McKenrick will talk about his leadership philosophy, his path to his current position, and challenges he faced along the way.
McKenrick attended Eastern Kentucky University (Bachelor of Science in Police Administration), Webster University (Master of Arts in Security Management), University of Pennsylvania (M.A. in Government Administration), Temple University (Juris Doctorate), U.S. Army War College (M.A. in Strategic Studies). He served combat tours in Iraq with the 1st Cavalry and 4th Infantry Divisions. His awards include the Legion of Merit Medal, Bronze Star Medal with oak leaf cluster, and Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, as well as other medals citing personal actions taken to save soldiers' lives.
Lunch with a Leader provides students, faculty, and members of the public the opportunity to hear ideas from local, state, and national leaders, share their own ideas, and gain inspiration for effective governance in a more intimate and informal setting.
