The Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra travels from Jalisco, Mexico for a performance of American and Mexican classics at Bovard Auditorium, including a world premiere of a work by current USC Thornton DMA candidate Juan Pablo Contreras.
 
Part of celebrations for the 2017 Year of Mexico in Los Angeles, the free concert will feature works by Copland, Gershwin, Marquez, and Revueltas, under music director Marco Parisotto.
