Free Event

Omicron Delta Epsilon and the Economics Association are co-sponsoring a panel on development economics this Friday April 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in KAP 138.

Professor John Strauss, Professor Jeffrey Nugent, Professor Vittorio Bassi, and Professor Paulina Oliva will cover topics ranging from the costs of air pollution in the developing world to labor markets in developing countries. This is a great opportunity to not only learn about global applications of economics, but to meet faculty members in the department and learn about their research interests. Food and beverages will be provided.

If you are interested in applying for USC's chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, a national economics honor society, the application can be found here.
