Intro to Opera:

In my talk I’ll answer some questions people often ask about opera, such as:
•    Why is there opera in the first place?
•    How did opera change between its beginnings and the operas we see most often today?
•    How was the development of opera influenced by composers such as Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, and Puccini?
We’ll look at each of these ideas as I play excerpts from some of the most famous and popular operas that will show the amazing development of this very unique art form.
